Emma Gilmour made her international debut in 2006 after winning a scholarship to compete in Europe. Since then, she has raced in rallying, rallycross, and cross-country events across the globe.

In 2022, Emma became the first-ever female factory driver for McLaren Racing during their debut Extreme E season. Her career highlights include reaching the semi-finals at X Games in Las Vegas, finishing runner-up in the FIA Asia-Pacific Rally Championship—the first woman to do so—and winning the International Women in Motorsport Cross-Country Challenge in Qatar. Most recently, she finished 3rd in the New Zealand Rally Championship.

Closer to home, Emma is a successful businesswoman, running Gilmour Motors Suzuki for over a decade.
